Sitting in a cafe a day or two before Christmas 2017 we saw a bus with an advertisment promoting a new clothing website -> www.lotd.com

Our thought was initially - Is there another company starting to use the TfL advertising trick as used by Boohoo, Missguided, Nasty Gal, Prettylittlething, Heist Studios and other pureplay online fashion retailers?
After a quick check we noticed one of the directors of Lotd Ltd resigned from Boohoo.com UK Ltd in April 2017. Lotd Ltd was incorporated in March 2017 and share its office address with TheRobertStreetHub, a co-working space in Manchester. Turns out the founder of Lotd.com was one of the co-founders of Boohoo.

Having seen PrettyLittleThing acquired by Boohoo earlier in 2017, will lotd.com become another acquisition target for Boohoo in a few years?
Lotd.com is built on the Shopify platform.
Is the wealth created by Boohoo's success helping to create a startup hothouse in Manchester?
Whatever the relationship between lotd.com and Boohoo, it is great to see that the money coming into Manchester via Boohoo and Missguded is coming to good use with co-working spaces and a support network for local startups.
