Phew. What can we say?

Our first visit to mainland China, Shanghai and CeMAT Asia certainly did not disappoint. Our head is still spinning from the many product demonstrations with extra loud loudspeakers and other highly amplified sound effects. One stand even had a resident DJ just in case you missed out on the ambience.

China increasingly developing unique solutions

We can confidently state that China is no longer just copying Western ideas (there is definitely a level of "copying" continuing) and there are definite signs of new thinking and quick iterations from Chinese vendors. Why is this happening? One answer can be the market is highly saturated and in order to stand out, vendors have to show something more than just another pallet shuttle where price is the determining factor. This is also true when they export overseas.
