Nike's foray into mechatronics does not come cheap for its most hardcore fans.
The Nike Hyper Adapt 1.0 shoe with adaptive lacing will only be available to buy in New York at its Soho and Nike+ Club House stores. Only Nike+ members will be able to buy the amazing product which comes in three colourways.
Its price at $720 is not bad considering this is the first mass produced 'self-lacing' (not fully self-lacing) shoe on the market. There is no indication if the product will continue in production or if the technology will be transferred to other ranges.
