Selling Warehouse Automation the Japanese way

Warehouse Automation Manga

We recently interviewed the Japanese system integrator Plus Automation for one of our reports and checked out their website. The company has illustrated the requirement for warehouse automation and robotics the Japanese Manga way and we thought it was worth a mention.

A few other companies have tried to go down a similar route. Locus, for example, distributed a kids cartoon booklet at a few trade shows some time ago.

The warehouse automation manga is also available on Plus Automation's website [here is episode 5]. Plus Automation have partnered with Libiao which is the yellow robot in some of the illustrations among other vendors.

We are pretty sure there's one or more warehouse operators that recognise themselves in these images and some of the stress of not getting out orders on time.
Order growth is good, but often it is left to warehouses to fulfill which can be problematic if there are large variations in order volumes.
